    SEMI SLICKS for quarter mile

    hey guys,

    im planning on getting two semi slicks for my front wheels on my dc2R for quarter mile drag racing.

    can you guys help me out with what ones i should get?

    i had toyo r888 in 205/50/15 and for NA application did me well.

    were they on the stock dc2r rims?

    and thers no point in getting some on the back true? just the front

    get some drag radials or slicks. Semis are designed with a hard sidewall which is crap for 1/4mile racing

    Getting semis for the rear will only increase friction and slow you down.

    ah i see , you got any suggestions of any particular drag radials or slicks?
    and how much do they cost around?

    Semis & stiff side walls are bad for Drags yes, but they are still a hell of a lot better that street tyres.

    Agree. They are somewhat inbetween high performance road tyres and treaded slicks ( like MT streets for example )



    To the OP - get some street legal slicks like these -

    thanks heaps guys,

    can someone tell me if those drag radials badhbt is selling will fit and are good? stock dc2r rims..

    yes they will fit fine. They are 225 wide - sit fat on your rims but will suit for drag racing.
