    how to remove stock eg spoiler? please help asap

    i got a civic eg 93

    stock spoiler on hatch with brake light i think

    how to remove it?

    im nt able to find any bolts or screws

    helpp

    lift the hatch open
    locate the hinges
    there is two 6mm bolts on the middle of each hinge, remove them
    lift the spoiler up and remove the electrical connector

    no bolts in hinges mate

    all i see is 4 metal plates instead of bolts

    are metal plates ment to be removed? underneath them are bolts?

    if yes then i cant remove metal plates

    not sure whats going on there if you don't have bolts.
    but there should be as that is what is holding it there.
    if you're planning on replacing the wing, then maybe you'll have to sacrifice that caps holding them there

    ive searchd everywhere other guys are stuck in same boat

    instead of bolts all i see is 4 circle metal plates with no head so cant use anything to remove them

    use a flathead screw driver, look for an open gap at the front and snap it upwards.
    lol


    Nah, there should be 4 small circular bolts. just above the hatch from the inside. They're size 10

    lol i know which circular plates youre talking about..those are the wrong things.
    look where the hinges are. there should be 2 bolts on each side, trust me its there lol
