    LS VTEC Conversion?????

    Hi everybody,

    im i need of some help from experienced teggy owners, i have just completed a LS Vtec conversion to my integra dc2 b18. Runs awsome! i put forged pistons, light weight crankshaft, etc...

    now to the problem i have, i have a head gasket leak at the fornt coner of the block, it has a brand new gasket????? the mechanic isnt sure y it is leaking?

    can anybody help me on to the BEST head gasket for a LS Vtec conversion

    Did you plug/weld the oil hole in the head? (though I imagine it would absolutely piss out oil if you didn't...)
    I have signatures turned off

    rebuilt vtec motors tend to get a bit moist in that section of the headgasket, is it the corner of the block which is exposed underneath the camseal?
    after a few kms it should be fine

    How much did it set you back? I seriously doubt that there is a mechanic in Canberra that could do an LS/Vtec.
