    can anyone help me on DIY jdm headlights? the blackened type..

    hey guys i dono if this is the right place to post this.. :S but here goes..

    i found a diy on here for what im after but the instructions were on a link and the link no longer works.. ive got some ambers but i want to blacken my headlights before i put everything on.. anyone have any ideas or step by step instructions on how to do this for an eg???

    what your after is a tint spray.
    first u need to sand down ur headlights so it sticks.
    spray a few coats.
    apply a clear and buff it =D

    but this might make more sense.

    yeahh i didnt want to to tint it coz it might dim the light..

    i couldnt open the lights up!! it has some black glue which is impossible to melt!!! loll i dont know, maybe if i left it in the oven a little longer.. but i was scared id melt the actual light! loll.. let me know how u go if you give it a try.
