disconnect the negative battery terminal for abt 5 mins, put it back on turn the key till the clock turns on if the time is reset the ECU should be too, it will then recailbrate.
also u will notice the auto windows dont work. push the switch all the way down (2 clicks down) and hold it the window will continue down then when the window is down still hold the switch for 10 more seconds then bring it all the way up with the switch at the 2nd click up position. until the window has been all the way up for 10seconds then let go of the switch.
my 1.3L 02 gli managed a best of 5.1 per 100 for me a couple times... now it belongs to my dad, it gets it all the time. my 09 Gli 1.3 manages a bnest of about 5.4 and usually 5.6
mine's (VTI-S GE Auto) roughly around the 400km mark per full tank (around 35-38L) = 8L/100km. Not really that great.
my older GD 1.3 Auto seems to be more fuel efficient.
hmm, most ppl dont use accelerators properly on auto cars, which is why the CVT was great because it would adjust the gears for u without changing the rpm.
most ppl plant the accelerator then reach their speed and take their foot off.
My VibeS 1.5Ltr is averaging 8.8Ltr's/100. Average speed is 37kms/hr so lots of start stop driving. I also tend to accellerate off the line quite heavy.
Euro Mods: K&N panel filter and Resonator removal, highly recommended, car more responsive and has a great raspy note.
Jazz Mods: None, stock as a rock.
are u happy with the offline performance for a 1.5?
Meh, a 1.8Ltr or 2Ltr would be better in the same body .
Put it in S and manual mode and it's not bad.
