Converting EK9 electric windows to manual winding

    Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of converting stock EK9 windows power windows to manual winding windows with N1 door cards and manual winder. I've look all round the internet to see if this can be done but can't find anything. Anyone have any information on this?

Less things to break down? You can open them without having your ignition on?

Not worth it...I love my power ones haha

To create a replica of a genuine N1 EK9. Those EK9s are nearly impossible to buy even here but I've seen a few. They have wind up windows, different crank pulleys etc

Thanks for the feedback anyways. Looks like a lot of work. Will forget the idea

    I am aware of that.

If i change doors i need to think about colour matching to CW colour again. EK Manual window doors are a bit hard to track here as well. Everyone has the JDM car here so there's no such thing as Civic CX etc.

    Hey

There's an easy way to do it and you can keep your current loom connected but you just gotta cut off the power window wires. and replace your power windows with manual windows and your done.

Im someone who went from manual to power windows. What i did was replace the manual windows kit and power window kit straight swap btw and i cut off all the power window wires and rewired them to a power source and ground and kept my current loom which had the central locking and alarm connected to it. Easiest way.

also i got the manual kit if your interested
