cold start not lowering to warm engine revs

hey guys, i adjusted my TPS and tried to reset the ecu after, but i forgot i had a unichip in the car before i started..
so the problem is, when the engine is cold and i start it up it revs around 2000. after a while its suppose to drop down to around 500-600 right? but it doesn't do that anymore. i'd have to turn off the car and turn it back on again before the idle is normal again.
i think it may be that the ecu might need a re-tune, any ideas?

Not sure if this will be of any helpm but dad a similar problem. Revs would jump up to around 2000rpm and only drop down after being stopped for a couple of seconds
Cleaned out the IACV. Problem seemed to have moved from fluctuating high idle revs to just steady high revs. So had my TPS adjusted and we're back to idling at 700 - 800rpm.
