T1R 2 piece half drive shaft spacers + other new TOYS! page2

    Hi guys,

I've just ordered these T1R from the states and my Monoflex + EDFC on its way from Japan can't wait.

Just wondering, with the drive shaft, i just need to unbolt those nuts and do they automatically go lose and create a space where i can insert those half spacers without having to take the whole thing off??

Or do i need to do more (take other things off) to create the gap to fill in the spacers?

I saw DIY on S2ki but that's taking the whole thing off.

    Cheers

you can just unbolt those nuts and yeh you should be able to fit them on
i had the J's drive shaft spacers installed without taking the whole thing off with no problems

You just need too un-blot the drive shaft nuts, make enough room too fit the half spacers in.

That's odd! I've got the J's spacers and it wasn't as easy as, undo bolts and insert spacer. Unless J's spacers are now split.

Fair enough, i didn't think there was suffient room to remove inner joint, and install spacer. I've installed three sets of J's Spacers and have needed to disconnect lower control arm to install them. Amen for company's that have them split! One less headache.
