if your car has an airbag yes it will be. I'm pretty sure having any aftermarket steering wheel that isn't ADR compliant is illegal/defectable. Which would be most steering wheels

Other than airbags, as long as its not too small and has a working horn. think 300-320mm. has to be a round steering wheel?

well, i havent had any issues yet.

not entirely true, pre 1996 cars had the option of having an airbag. post 1996 cars, it was compulsory to have air bags. in saying that, any car made in the years 1996 and after are not allowed to have an aftermarket steering wheel without an airbag. if your car was made before 1996 which by looking at the OP's profile, is a 94 dc2 then go nuts mate.

in QLD it is illegal as the steering wheel isnt approved to the ADR that your original steering wheel was. Even if the car is pre 1996.

I know he's in nsw but just saying this is the case in QLD. Read page 8 of this document
