    Wiring diagram fd2 8th gen stereo??

    Asking if anyone knows wiring diagram for my stereo so i can install new HU thanks and put subs and amp? Really appreciate it

    Thanks for the information it was alright except for the wire at rear left speaker instead of yellow it was white but i think their the same in general, wait and see when i open up my dash, i'll keep u guys on track if it is all the same as the diagram. Cheers curtis thanks for the help cant wait to install my amp and subs appreciate it!

    The best way is to track down the 3 main wires from the stock headunit.

    Main power (usually red)
    Accessories power (usually yellow, sometimes orange)
    ground (always black)

    Once you have those connected, turn the car on 2 clicks ( the click before you actually start the engine), and then if you've got the 3 main wires right then you just work out your speaker wires using logic and a bit of trial and error.

    Negative wires usually have grey strips on them, so you can get the polarity right for your speakers (although that doesn't matter unless you're running aftermarket speakers)

    Finally step is usually hooking up the amp.

    ^ you can tap the amp remote to the rear (connector B 20P) terminal #16 of your HU or to the antenna remote at the trunk ..

    ill try to find the schematic diagram....
