A little bit of an update

I thought I would put up some slightly better pictures of the car.
In the next few weeks (whenever JDM yard gets them in stock), a Type R rear lip is coming for the car (to finish the black lips).

I am going to try and keep the mudflaps as well as the lip, kinda like what this guy has done.

But anyways, here is my car:

    The new CTR front grille.

The other new addition to this car is a centre armrest and OEM cupholders. Using the power from the amps under the seat, I wired in two 12v sockets, so I can charge my Phone even when the car is off.

I also sprayed all of my radiator mounts and heat shields a gloss black. I didn't bother taking a photo of that because it is just a completely stock engine.

    Thanks man,

If you do end up doing it, I wouldn't mind seeing how it looks.

    Whats happening with your car?

Yeah i might give it a crack tomorrow.
My ek.. Nothing much. Need to get my asr/beaks (for bling) and rear sway bar installed. Also saving up for a set of wheels and painting. Still got the mismatched stuff happening. So really nothing much with it.

I bought it off another user on this forum for $140 with a set of OEM cup holders.

I posted a wtb thread on this forum and got about 4 different replies.

It was around $300 for the front rotors, bendix pads, and drum brake shoes.
And about $150 for a set of RDA drum shoes and replacement wheel cylinders.

So in total: About $450 for new rotors and pads up front and rebuilt drums at the back.

I didn't go with the slotted rotors because they didn't have them in stock at the time I bought all the parts and I needed to get this done before I went away. (I wish I had, but it is a Ek1, it stops well enough.

Although, whilst I was doing the rear drums, we noticed that the trailing arm bushings are stuffed.

So next for this car is:
    - New bushings all around
    - Sway bars, strut braces. (This will mean new LCA's at the front)
