I don't follow F1 but i'm amazed theres no talk about button running a 1.48 on the mountain today? He said 1.40s are more than possible with a bit more track time.

Craig lowndes holds the V8 record at 2.06

I've been trackside for 45 minutes and I feel Redbull are going to walk this season... The speed Webber is able to carry through corners 1 & 2 is phenomenal.

Saw Adrian Sutil's spin in front of us today, was an incredible save and effort not to hit the wall. If anyone was at federation square on thursday to see Alonso, you may have seen me get a photo with him on stage than drive the Ferrari f1 simulator.

Soo yeah that was a pretty eventful race...

As expected Seb smashed the field and was pretty convincing ..
Hamilton was also on pace which is a good indication that they will be competitive all year long..
Petrov put in an epic drive for 3rd - looks like that Lotus Renault will be up there also (its a shame we wont see Kubica driving it)
Webber was pretty gutted and understandably so - poor guy, cant catch a break in his home GP..

Sauber are appealing a disqualification on both their cars for infringements on their rear wing design.
Its a shame as both Perez and Kobayashi drove well - couldnt believe Perez did a 1 stopper! (could be cos of the rear wing though LOL!)

So the provisional results are as follows:
