Exclamation [CL9] Power Steering Hose Recall 2011 (ALL CL9 owners please read)

Now its official, a recall notice is issued for all the CL9 owners with cars built between June 2003 thru to June 2008 which is everyone driving one.

    As published in GoAuto. http://www.goauto.com.au/mellor/mell...2578620002376D

Honda says it will advise owners of all affected vehicles by mail to contact an authorised Honda dealership to have the power steering feed hose replaced with an “improved component”.

Better safe than sorry. Notices will be posted to owners soon. Now thats a lot of new hoses to be fitted. Would not mind a few dollars for each one.

Pretty late recall. Hopefully the people that have paid for it can get some sort of payment.

I hope it stops the squeaky steering wheel might get them to check that since it's a part of steering components ... What happened to quality ?

I wonder if this is indicative of power steering issues with the euro........luckily i had mine rebuilt under warranty.

I had it repaired after market, all up $220 incl onsite labour.

Had I gone Honda genuine... We're looking $500+

Ps: Honda probably got sued again in the USA by some consumer action groups to do this recall... Seriously.
