SiR in Australia is very rare.

do you have link for that EG6 for sale ??

1/4 mile of my car (EG5 with stock SiR-II motor and trans on stock tyres etc) was 15.0".. so i'd say OEM EG6 would be about 15.5"

    3 GENUINE EG6's ???? far out !! I want one !!
have only ever seen an EG9 SiR Ferio over here, and an EJ1 coupe (!!).

to figure resale value, should be NO LESS than the value of an AUS EG5 VTi.

a stock B16A under the hood is much better than a swapped B16.. so if you look at it that way, an EG6 should be worth more than an equal condition swapped B-series EG.

I haven't seen any "advertised" for less than 12K - having said that it might give an indicator of the price you might get...

in most cases a hybrid is only as good as what it has... the value of labour is lost and any mods are usually lost as well on resale... think otherwise and you might be sitting on your car for a while...

    that's exactly right..
you cant buy a civic for $12k then spend $4k on a swap then sell it for $16k..though I've seen it happen before HAHAHA

but in terms of trim level and spec etc, and EG6 should be worth no less than a VTi of the same condition.. about $12k.

Personally i'd pay more for an EG6 as there are many little features not found on AUS models. plus i'd rather a B-series that was installed by HONDA than one installed by some dodgy workshop...

The one for 12.5k is an urgent sale... usually go for alot more. A good condition one i beleive is worth about 15 and know 2 guys that bought it for that or higher.... and i know how much you bought it for BlueSIR the price u paid for it was very reasonable
