    so, im guessing i must have just been completly lucky in my ITR with a gt3037s.........
    and in my bro's k20 s13 with a gt3076r
    and my mates s15 with stock turbo.....

    stronger turbos will withstand more of a beating - and it depends on your setup - ie how big the intercooler is and what the bov/ecu setup is doing

    it is bad for your turbo.

    think about it.

    It's spooling, giving your intake pressure, then all of a sudden you close the throttle.

    where is all that pressure going to go? how do you think that flutter is produced?
