    This is an epic fail
Dry ice did shit all in the eg
Spent an hour or more chiseling away at only a 1/4 of the front car
Not worth the effort to save 10kgs in my opinion
Not going any further with it

It is easy, you cant use ice from the freezer.

yeah happened to me aswell the front bits of soundeading the ones closest to the dash board were harder to get off then other parts of the car, some bits are harder then others but it will come off, took me about 3-4 hrs to get everything off including using kero to get the stubborn bits, keep at it!

I used about 15kg on my eg and everything bar the spare wheel well came off easy. Laid a nice layer down, let it sit for about 25min then moved the dry ice to the next section, let it sit & while I was waiting everything pretty much came off by hand

8kg of dry ice is more than sufficient, all u need to do is put the ice in a bag so that u can move it around to reuse instead of smashing it to bits and get vertical orientated deadening on the wall. I did my ED and EG with just $25 worth of dry ice, and came off clean, just need to leave it on for a while longer for the stubbon piece.
