I've done a search and haven't found a specific thread.
So i thought I'd add my experiences here to help others out.
First (in my case) the manual impact tool didn't work at all. All it did was round out the philips head of the screw redering it useless.

With reference to what others have said about heating it up with a torch. I'd do that first before anything else. (I didn't as I didn't have access to one)

Basically the screws are damn near welded in..... so heating them first to loosen everything up makes perfect sense.

I drilled mine out (broke one drill bit) They are quite hard and required around 20mins per screw. If you're lucky they'll just pop out (one did) If not you'll be left with the residual thread left in the hub. I was quite careful getting that out as I didn't want to damage the thread.

Now after all that sodding around I didn't want to put the genine honda screws back in. Laughably my local Honda dealer swears they don't even exist !!!

So after trawling the web to find the screw spec, which is M6x14mm, I found a perect fit. A HPI part for a Baja buggy.

As you can see they are hex heads and fit perectly. I also lubed the thread with K&N filter spray (just had some to hand) so they went in well and hopefully can be unscrewed when necessary.

Here's a pic in the pads going in. Yes i know there is was to much anti squeal goo.

Don't laugh but the job took me the entire day !! However now I've done it I'm sure I could do them both in under two hours.

Oh another point worth noting you'll need 10mm, 14mm and 17mm wrenches.
Again all the bolts will be effectively seized so they will need a good belting to get them undone. Brake cleaner and WD40 will help.

Some great links below with extra pics. Good Luck if its your first time.
