EG Civic Hatch Exhaust system differences

Hi guys,

Are the EG Civic hatch exhausts all the same?
ie. VTi, Si, GL, Breeze, GLi??

I want to put a standard exhaust back on my VTi but want to know what my options are as its harder to find a VTi or/and Si specific exhaust.

Pretty much in terms of actual exhaust. Headers might be slightly different but I've seen VTi (I have both sedan and hatch), GLi, and Breeze and they are all interchangeable. You might also find the muffler slightly different.

The GL and Breeze are interchangeable as the cat are directly underneath the manifold.

Gli, Si and Vti are interchangeable.

You can fit the breeze or gl muffler and/or b pipe on Gli, Si and Vti but by fitting the b pipe, you will not have a cat fitted, which causes rattles and is very bad for our environment.

All the hatch mufflers are interchangeable

Gl and breeze are smaller and have less heat shielding i believe

I haven't personally checked all the models but i would say all the standard EFI D series eg have the same internal diameter considering their interchangeability
