    Brake Prop Valve Help

    Sup y'all,
has anyone had prop valves constantly let go on them?
Recently stuck a 96' spec ITR Booster + MC into car with Wilwood calipers.
The stock 30/40 Prop valve shit it self, right where that black rubber seal is.

Got a nice 40/40 from a 98 DC2 and BAM! Leaking from seal again after a hill climb.
It was fine after install, checked all the lines prior to the run. No leaks anywhere, brakes were awesome. No pedal slowly sinks >_<!

    Any ideas?
    Cheers.

common sense would say the pressure is to much for prop valve, have you tried a dc2r prop valve?? might be made more inline with the MC

He's probably referring to the little black rubber cap on the outside.

I got your pm, figured I'd just reply here.

Its because the brake fluid is doing more work. The bigger brakes have more piston area, so there is more brake fluid being moved, at a higher pressure, and it's becoming too much for the prop valve

Ok I figured as much trism.
    Any solutions?!
I found this on Honda tech but I'm not getting what he's saying.

I really don't want to grab another 40/40 and go through the effort of fitting then POP!

he's saying/asking if it's possible to block that hole (relief valve) so it stops leaking but I don't think anyone was able to help him with that
so then he had a thread tapped and a stud put in without success.. still leaked

what size is your BMC? 96 ITR is 15/16 if im not mistaken?
I believe the reason mine leaked was due to the undersized bmc+booster
