    Ej8 - D16Y8 - No power under 3000rpm after mechanical sevice

I just had a major car service

all new belts, water pump, oil filter, spark plugs, radiator flush, oil, fuel filter.

Although now the car seems to have a flat spot under 3000rpm, and then it has a more noticable increase.

What did the bugger do to my car!? I've heard other people relate this issue to the MAF sensor, some suggest disconnecting it to see if it fixes.

1-3k revs just feels the same, only the engine is making more noise.

    any ideas?

D and B series dont run MAF lol.... too cheap to have em

If the car feels sluggish, might be the oil used, what oil did u use?

could be that they didnt adjust the ignition timing as well

Maybe he missed a teeth when putting timing belt back, should check the timing again, Also maybe he used Thicker oil.
