Question [CL9] Boot release handle wont budge..?

This is a bit of an odd one. My boot release handle (under drivers seat) wont budge when I pull it. I cant open my boot this way anymore. It was workng fine before, but coming back from holidays this happened.

The fuel lid opens just fine when i push the handle. And I think its not on the lock position -- the key slot is vertical. But I cant turn the key to lock/unlock the boot either.

The boot opens fine using remote open on my keys though. SO strange.. anyone ever had this issue and solved it?

    much thanks

I think if you just go to dealer and ask them to fix it without charge.
Mine was the opposite. I couldn't open it from the lit on the boot itself so I had to open it from under the seat.
