    HELP: reset preset of coilovers

    hey fellas

i got a set of MDU coilovers on my eg civic. The fronts need the spring preset to be reset (from what i have been told) - spring doesn't sit on the shock flush .. wriggles around like chopped springs.

wondering if anyone can DIY me on how to reset the presets ? or anyone in brisbane would be able to come help me do it (willing to pay if necessary)

    from southside brisbane , sunnybank

    thanks in advance

If theyre dual perch, jack the car up so theres no weight on them and tighten the upper perchs till the spring isnt loose.
Dont tighten it so much so theres clamped tension, just so its captive and wont move.

basically, screw the perch to the point where u cant hand tighten no more, than using force, with the c-spanners, tighten up another 5mm so there is preload on the spring and the spring wont fall out of its seating.
