I wasnt bragging that its fast or anything just trying to be informative for other owners of euros thats all.
Car, with standard ecu made 106 and after 116 approx.
Good gains were made in midrange too but ye, cant expect too much from standard, na, heavy car.
What is popular is not always right. What is right is not always popular.
Ez-lips front and side:
Saw on the photos of the recent Euro meet in Sydney some folks are rocking ez-lips on their car, and to me it actually looks pretty decent.
- Anyone here that actually use them have any feedback?
Blox/P2R IM and TB heatshield gasket.
Was thinking about a Tb spacer. Canned it after looking at the dyno figures on the TSX. it makes 1hp over heat gaskets... Meh.I'll take heat gasket and the 3hp it bring atw.
New (DIY) ground kit:
The current HKS ground kit simply isn't long enough to cover all the points I want it to cover (still missing a transmission link for example). And the short length means the engine bay is messy. Will probably make some DIY wires to suit
I plan to have the ground wires connect to:
1. Throttle body
2. Transmission
3. Engine block
4. engine mount area
Light weight pulley:
Still toying with this idea... it'll be stock-ish size, if anything I'll buy the T1R K20 pulley due to its solid design. No holes, no cuts.
Rims
As you can tell from my part list, my euro is anything BUT jdm..... USDM if anything.... I figured why not continue that with new shoes, I gonna take bronze Sparco asetto gara (by OzRacing) over the usual/works that everyone else uses. Very conservative fitment of 17x7.5 +40. Will get some Sumitomo Hrt z 2's to match.
--- saves 3 lbs per corner compared to stock.
And finally.... The dreaded suspension talk.
Decided to keep an eye of for 2nd hand coilovers 1inch drop maximum... Due to the lower strut bar scraping everything .
