    17x9.5+40 and 17x8.5+30 wheel size on dc5r?

wondering if these wheel sizes will fit on a dc5r and what mods will need to be done? atm my car is pretty much standard, i was thinking of putting the 9.5" on the front and 8.5" on the rear and i am looking at getting coilovers soon??

First thing you'll need to do is roll your guards.

The wheels will fit depending on your height, stiffness, camber, tyre size etc.
Imo, you should run your wider wheels on your rear..

^This site will give you an idea of what tyre size to run on the size of the wheels.

    Don't think 17 x 9.5 +40 will fit. Probably will hit something.

If it does hit something, it will probably be the strut

run a lower offset...therefore if need be you can roll the guards!
you cant relocate your struts lol

spacer yess...however why not just get the correct fitment to start off with?
    save yourself the stress..
just find out what width and offset will fit and go from there.

Wouldn't think you'd need any spacers for that size

OP should wait until a set of wheels come up for sale that are going to fit without any headaches, plus using spacers on high offset wheels takes away the concave goodness! Look for a 17x9 + 30 for best DC5 fitment IMO
