    True or false

Ok so I bought a 1992 Prelude with H22A Import. Factory is around 147kw roughly 200HP
Previous owner said its producing 172kw with such modifications as

    *4-2-1 Extractors (EBAY)
    *4-1/2inch XFORCE Cannon
    *Aftermarket Fuel Pump
*K&N High Flow Pod Filter - NEW
    *New Aliminium Radiator
    *10.2 Vision Spark Leads
*Dyno Tuned at DR.DRIFT in Melbourne
*APEXI Vtec Controller (4800RPM kick in)

I really want to know roughly would this be true? or how much power will I REALLY be producing?

it would be hard to say but i doubt it is making that much power, would be best to get a couple of dyno runs happening.

hey u should join preludeaustralia.com. we are a nice bunch over there.

seems unlikely to make that sorta power without FI. dyno ur car to see what it is really making

WHY throw it in the bin the vtec controller?
and how much does it cost on average for a dyno run

    Pretty much this.
I recently took my car into my mates dyno and did some runs just playing around with the vtec controller, no gains were made at all, it didn't make any difference in the powerband either (Well no noticable difference).

A dyno run will cost 70-120, they'll usually give you like 3 runs on it.

    147kw is around 110 fwkw.
If it's pulling 172 fwkw, it'd be an absolute weapon. Unlikely.

Go to a dyno comp, get a graph for about $60.

As for the V tec controller, a tunable ECU would do you much more good. Whilst also giving you the ability to change your Vtec crossover.

The only way to know where to set your Vtec crossover, its by doing dyno graphs on both high and low cams and seeing where the two graphs crossover...
    When words fail, Vtec speaks....!
