    Urgent dc2 question!!!

hey guys i just bought a 1995 dc2 from auction and it came with no keys. Is it possible to replace the ignition/door/boot barrels of another dc2 and use the keys of the other dc2 or do i have to have a set of keys made up.

    any help would be appreciated

    thanks

yes you can replace it, but boot and door are seperate keys. boot has a key on its own.

yea thats possible ktd, just be aware that it might have immobiliser. idk if dc2 that year has immob. or not.
you will need dremel to notch out the shear-away bolts holding ignition barrel.

is it possible to have keys made for the existing barrels. im pretty sure the 1995 dc2's didn't have an emobiliser.

    thanks

    Hey man,
My friends got this done a month ago for a reasonable price think it was around $350 .. He cut 2 keys off the barrel with immobilizer programming, as he lost his keys. If you want his number it is:
    Sydney Security Locksmiths
    Phone: 9734 7155
    Mobile: 0414 466 228

all good man. thanks for trying anyway. i called up southside honda and they said they can give me a set of keys for $9 with the key codes, so all i have to do is go to a locksmith and get the keys cut according to the key code.
