    i have an EG8 with D15b7 running a D16a6 cam
it has a Fujita CAI and ebay stainless 4-2-1 headers

i scored an xforce S12 twinloop muffler cheap from a member on here
and took it to my mechanic to have the cat + catback built
he put on a magnaflow cat and stainless 2.5" catback
the cat cost about $200, the muffler was dirt cheap at $40
and the stainless catback with 1 stainless hot-dog resonator was $300

it sounds really good - not farty at all, nice and quiet at low revs and has a nice bit of bark up high
theres a vid of it in my build thread
the build thread is in my sig

for mufflers you will want a nice oval barrel glass packed muffler - magnaflow and xforce both make a good unit
you could also try a twinloop - xforce make them or you can try find a cheap one on ebay - i cant vouch for the ebay ones being good tho

for the catback you will want mild steel and at least 1 hot dog style resonator - that will give a nice deep and quiet tone without being 'ricey' or 'farty'

just take off your muffler like integragsi96 and claim it to be straight pipe. true story.
