    AC in EG B18C

    hey oh members!

I am currently in the final stages of completing my JDM B18C ITR conversion in my EG. I currently got the B18C AC Compressor bolted up but the lines dont match. How do i go about matching them up? I also got B16 AC Compressor and bracket, and a D16 AC Comp and bracket.

    Thanks guys

the simplest way to overcome this i believe is to use the b20 crv compressor bracket- and use your old d16 compressor.

getting the b18 compressor to work with your setup is a bit trickier. What year is your eg? if 94 down, you'll need
-a DC2/R/95EG coolbox (the box where the ac pipes go into)
    -95EG/EK condenser
-DC2 bottom ac pipe (the one from the compressor to the coolbox)
-EK4 top ac pipe (the one from the compressor to the condenser)
    - (im not sure about this one but you may need the other aluminium line as well, the one that runs from the condenser to the cool box)

Don't forget to change your receiver drier as well while you're at it.

If you cant be bothered doing all of that, i guess take it to an ac specialist shop and they'll probably make up some custom pipes and lines which will match up to your current setup.

    goodluck!

Can't you just chang the end fittings to dc2 at pirtek? That's what I did. Cost way less and easier.

take it to an aircon place,

they can cut off the pipe for each connector ( hi and low ) and reweld it on the correct angle and regas.
