Best car for a tight budget

Hi, I was wondering what car I could get with my tight budget. My budget is ranged from $20,000 to $30,000. I am having trouble picking out a good car for myself and family. What do you guys suggest?
I need one before this coming christmas as I would like to go on a holiday with my friends and family. Help is much appreciated!

Im not so sure that 20k - 30k is called a 'tight' budget by the majority of people

Haha, that does look like a beast indeed! Not looking to make my family feel sick through the corners !

Not really looking for performance, Preferred 4 doors and a somewhat fuel efficient car :s

As long as its worth the price haha

    Evo or Sti hands down....

OR if u like the idea of a RWD, toyota Chaser JZX100 or if u want a newer car, a Chaser JZX110

Or the Autech R33 skyline GTR , rare beast and its 4 doors hahahhaaha....

If ur after a local, than XR6 Turbo or HSV R8

But if u want eco car, than none of these fit the bill, we have failed you LOL.....
