My 98 Civic CXI EK1

This is progress of my car hope you like :)
Picked it up for 6gz back in May 2011 with 5months rego all 3 keys and full long book bone stock,had already electric windows only problem was it the idle would fluctuate but knew what the problem was already and fixed it when i got home :) and gave it a full service belts and all.

Engine: 1.6 D16Y4
Its manual :) these are the things that ive done since i got it :)






nice clean engine :)


Went to pick n payless and strip off the front sway bar from a GLI and the links and arms :)




yes thats legit kms lol installed a GLI Cluster so i can see my revs

Got some new 17"Advanti rims and Yokohama A539 tires






Ordered and installed the Type R front Grill,front lip,Gear knob also have the back lip but havent put it on yet




Ordered ebay headers and cat converter for 154 bucks delivered to my door :D then went down liverpool exhaust and got a 2inch high flow system cat back exhaust :)




unpacked and ready to install xD



changing colour,after a good run



only problem i found was they do sit low under the car

EK4 OEM Strut bar installed :)


OEM EM1 rear sway bar installed :D thanks blabla for the great sale :)


Tein H tech springs 1.3 drop on the front and 1.1 on the rear and scrubs when i drive out my driveway lol

Rear CF Wing and fog lights done :)

Thats nice man. Where did u get the lips from? Do you have to spray them?

thanks i got my lips of ebay because there cheaper to buy i got both front and rear lip for $145 delivered to my door xD and i havent painted them you can if you really waant to but i just left it for now

would you mind to share which eBay seller did you buy the header and CAT from? Also, lips from eBay too, how's the fitment?

headers and cat http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/320704148...84.m1497.l2649 two problems i must warn you with the headers and cat first when i installed it they were pushed the stock exhaust a few inches back which was a pain to put in but i ended up cutting and welding a section just to get by before i got my cat back done the next day because it pushed the rest of the exhaust that far back it was rubbing on the fuel tank :s second problem is it does sit low and had to cut and weld a flex pipe to give it some movement and bend it up so the rest of the exhaust can sit nice and tucked away this is what i mean

- feel any difference in power or toque after the new header put in?

no worries glad to help

with a naturally aspirated engine its hard to feel the power but i think i freed up some extra HP and torque did it to make it breath better and all i really want was a little more sound and now i recon it sounds pretty sweet with the system i got not to loud not to quiet
but my civic doesnt sound like a civic if you have heard it haha

the front lip pretty easy 4 self taping screws and the rear i havent had time to put it on but heard its a little harder havent tried yet lol
