    Passenger window not going down!

    Hey guys,

I have been installing my sound system over the last couple of weeks and had my alarm system installed, I have had the door trim off the whole time and now that it's back on I noticed that the passenger window won't go down using either switch (passenger/driver) but the mirror works via the switch.

Any ideas on what's wrong? I can confirm that the wires are not cut as i've checked them.

    Thanks,
    Bronson11

possibly the switch or reg only way to determine that is the get a multimeter and check the connector going to the switch for power

im going to say something very stupid, but is it connected up correctly on both doors?

i have seen instances where the connectors were forgotten. otherwise it leaves the switch or regulator.

also, have you ensured that you didnt connect the wrong cable? (ie. window with mirror and vice versa?)

my mechanic (merc specialist) worked on the legend, connected the door light to the power window cable, and now i dont have any door lights.

There is only one plug on the passenger side, and two on the drivers - Yes I have plugged them all in correctly

I have gotten a multi-meter to the connector, and there is power getting to the switch.
As far as i can tell, all the fuses are intact.

sounds like a busted regulator? i would say. just curious, did the regulator sound like it was going to die? (slow movements, tired sounding movements, broken plastic wheels?

my regulator went bust one morning, i could hear the plastic wheels snapping and bits of metal flying within the door.

I haven't heard anything like that....

Although i did just get an alarm installed - Now my passenger door doesn't lock with the remote, I'm thinking that the two are related... Taking it back to the shop, hopefully they fix it
