Sub+Amp for stock head unit in 2010 FD1

Hey guys, I'm new here, I've just got a MY09 2010 Civic FD1 and I want to boost the audio, even at 40 its not what I want, and nowhere near the bass that I want, I need suggestions on what to do as I dont want to change the head unit on it.

i have my equalizer on bass +2 and treble on +3 i think or other way around..

anyhow, here's the trick which some of the members here know.

    turn your stereo off
hold buttons '4' and '6' and press 'ON' once - release all buttons.
press '4' once and release - it should say flat.
    turn stereo off
    turn stereo on.

make sure its under volume 10 before you do it. it will be what you desire. trust.

and if you don't like it, turn your car off and then on again.

only downside of this trick is you have to do it every time you turn your car on.. however its a 5 second, one handed job whilst reversing out of your garage
