Reviving old thread.. I recently built my splitter. Anyone have ideas on what I can use at under edges of the splitter at the front to protect it from the scraps?

Great write up. Has anyone tried using aluminium sheet metal with some kind of lip like this one http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=221560187887
I'm thinking about buildin one for the ek to try and prevent the front end from lifting and getting too light around the 180kph mark.
