    Pre Facelift vs Facelift (CL9)

    Hey guys...

I'm trying to work out the differences between the 04-05 Rear Bumper vs 06-08 Rear Bumper...

I keep looking at photos and I can't tell the difference side by side ==

Look at the area just above the exhaust with the reflectors (don't know what it's called) The facelift bumpers has the area extended wider than the prefacelift if that make sense.

Pre-facelift: smooth an round no indication of a lip at all

    Pre-facelift - smaller front grill
Facelift - slighty wider front grill

They also have a different gear knob and steering wheel

Shouldnt it be the same axispower? doesnt it run the same engine? Roughly same weight?

I would hope its the same...

But in the US, the Acura TSX:

The K24A2 featured intelligent variable valve timing (i-VTEC) and produced 200 horsepower (150 kW) in this iteration.
    The Australian is K24A3, 190hp/140kW.

in 2006 (the TSX) was updated with slight tweaks to the engine (adding 5 hp); a sportier exterior styling featuring a slightly new front and rear treatment, standard side skirts, and standard, integral fog lights; and restyled wheels
For the 2006 model year, the K24A2 was updated to produce 205 hp (153 kW). The diameter of the throttle body and intake valves were slightly increased, along with the cam duration and valve lift.
So I'm wondering if our Australian models were upgraded as such or similarly...

No, our facelift is not like the USDM.

For example, facelift tsx is supposed to have bigger exhaust pipes, I've measured an audm post facelift... No change to preface....
