Early model cable gearboxes from the CRX and DA9-6 with S1,Y1,J1 designations are not fully interchangeable with the hydro internals although some parts may swap over. A YS1 housing from the 92-93 DA is the only cable housing that can take hydro internals although it will take a bit of modification(shaving internal ribs)to fit the diff/final drive.

Anyway, your question is confusing.. The GSi and VTiR both have hydro gearboxes.

All B-series gearboxes will bolt on to any B engine, just need to get the right clutch to fit the different spline on the input shaft that the early versions have compared to the 92 onwards boxes, plus the different type of clutch actuation obviously but this relates to chassis not engine.

What are you looking to do?

I was gonna post that link!

The YS1 on that sheet is not relating to the US VTiR version. YS1 boxes only came in the gen 2 integras.

Anyhow, if you did want to use those internals then yes they would fit. You would be going with very old stuff however and it would need a full refresh costing a lot!

The YS1 gearbox is found in the 92-93 DA9/DA6 Integra. The YS1 is basically a hydraulic 92-00 b series gearbox in cable form and is the only cable box that will except the hydraulic internals. The DA9 YS1 has the DC4 GSi gear set (long ratio) and the JDM DA6 YS1 has the EG6/EK4 gear set (short ratio). There is no way to identify a short ratio and a long ratio YS1 without opening up the gearbox and the short ratio is even more rare as the DA6 was not Aus delivered, So if you do find a YS1 it will most likely have worse gear ratios then your DC2 Vtir gearbox.
