dc2 not starting fuel pump not priming. ( ECU RELATED )

ok, so for the past few months my integra's fuel pumps has been intermittently not priming, the other night when i really needed the car was the final straw!

so tonight i decided to hook up a switch to the pump because i couldnt work out why it wasnt priming.

so, i have fuel ( checked the fuel rail, ( fuel pissed out errywhere! ) fuel pump is priming!

and i have spark. ( screwdriver in end of lead, close to earth.. )

and the car wont start at all.

the car doesnt have an alarm, recently removed.

UPDATE! so i swapped over to the factory ecu ( current one is a hondata) and bam fuel pump primes.... and the car starts... i dare not drive the car on the factory ecu ( boosted engine ) i just dont understand. usually things like that arnt a slow break down. usually an electrical component " from my understanding" in an ecu simply just fails...

the only thing i havnt really checked is for an injector pulse.

but i just cant understand why that would suddenly happen.

also just changed fuel pump relay to a known working one... still not working,

also tested earth strap on thermostat housing

also tested main earth strap on gearbox to chassis

you can always just test earth via the chassis instead of ground.
a faulty fuel pump can cause a relay to fault,
a faulty relay can failt the fuel pump.

you also mentioned "ok, so for the past few months my integra's fuel pumps has been intermittently not priming", if the pump fails to prime at times have you tried getting a 2nd hand one from a wreck etc and testing it?

have you checked all your earthing points, motor to chassis, battery to chassis etc?

did you do any sort of timing related work on your car lately?

tried all that, the fuel pump is a new walbro... but yes, i swapped for factory, checked the loom for power nothing.. had earth but no power....

pretty sure the ecu is dead... not sure how or why. but i just put in the factory ecu and the pump primed... and the car started.

I bought it off another member about 2 years ago.

I opened the ecu up and it doesnt "seem" to have any burn marks.

I've contacted Hondata, and asked them about it. Hopefully they can shed some light to what's going on

Sad day is sad.... Seems to be one thing after another lately

Fake walbro pumps are also out there.!
Use amp meter and check amp draw. Could be drawing from ecu

Yeah but the way I look at it, everything like that is fine because when I put in standard ecu everything works perfectly

Problem is the ecu, if hondata s200 is blinking means you have problem
    It should be solid.

ok so i pulled the blue box apart, gave it a wipe down,

and then i pulled ecu apart and did the same.

put ecu back in. car now drives. and everything is fine.
