    17x8 Wheels on CD5 Accord

Just wondering if anyone on here has got 17x8 wheels on their accord? I know im okay with putting 17s on, but its the 8 inch width that worries me, has anyone done it? Does it scrub or bottom out? Im lowered on BC coils and wondering if I will need a camber kit to pull this off.

PS, i have offset options of +35 +25 or +15

I know of a bunch of CD5's with 17x8s, and width is not a problem.
Cannot confirm if +35 will rub on the F+R Knuckles/Rear Trailing Arm.

    I have 17x9 +25's w/ 235/40R17's on my CB7 Accord (Yeah i know right? o.O)

1010Tyres have an Offset Calculator, you can Google to find it.
Best bet is to check your current clearances between Inner Guard/Knuckle/Rear Trailing Arm.
Then work out how much offset your current rims have.
And using the 1010Tyres Calcualtor you can see how much extra room you'll need on the inside and out for the 17x8's.
Then you can make the decision on offset!

    Good luck!
It's not 4x4 status, think of it as "Winter Mode".

17 by 8 with any of thoe offsets are fine!

+35 and +25 are easy fit with 215/45 or even 225/45 with just guard roll

+15 you'll need to run 215/45 and slight camber adjustment just to be safe

ive had 17x8 +35 on 215 45 not long ago

    heres how itt look

    and if you want wider

    18x9 +27 front 215 40
    18x10 +24 rear 235 40

    Here's mine with 17x9s +15s 215/45/17s

Bc Coilovers, No camber adjustment, guards rolled front and rear, rears pulled about a 3cms to fit the 9s with that tire..

Had 17x8 +35 works on it with 205/40s and fitted no problem with coils wound right down.

That looks so sick, My only problem is, my step dad is highway patrol, and NSW law wont let me have my wheels sticking out of the guards. So by extension, my Step dad wont let me leave the drive way with a car he can defect.

Hahah unfortunately not. Hes already let me off once for going 10 over in a school zone. He wont let me push my luck with defects. He already hates me going out at the moment with my Cold air intake done. Plus its too low, the exhaust sits 70 mm off the ground.
