Cl9 headlight refresh

Just refreshed my headlights with some
wet and dry and a bit of elbow grease.
Came up mint az. Was really hazy so i sanded
and polished with buffer afterwards. Anybody
else have problems with weather damage on their lights?

I recommend that you spray them with the UV protection stuff. Repco sell it.

I think I know what you're talking about... my right headlight appears to have some heavy build up of some sort from the inside.. not sure what, probs due to the HIDs. Anyone know how to clean the inside? Or anyone who will do it?

Mine was all external
Prob the protectant they put on it
Just sanded it all back looks good now

i remember reading in another thread the cl9s tend to have poor sealing on their headlights as moisture tends to build up inside?

had the same problem with mine, so i just replaced the whole headlight

This stuff is great for restoring headlights and cleaning oxidisation which is a common problem with most modern and old cars it's called carnauba wax. You can find the website at http://www.fw1.com.au

That stuffs like $35 a can!! It cost me $4 for wet and dry and $12 for liquid polish
Was guna get headlight kit but thought id dodgy diy it.
Still gotta seal it with some type of uv sealer
