    FD K20Z2 options?

    Okay so i'm planing to buy a 8th gen Civic FD sports, which comes with the K20Z2.
    I think it's rated 114kw? but I want to get some more power and hopefully keep up with a stock EP3

    With a little bit of reading around, im guessing my options are;
    Straight K24 swap
    K24 top <- not so sure about this
    K20A swap?

    With those options, roughly how much would they cost and would it be hard to register it?

    Won't be hard to register the new engines at all, however the engines have to be from the same year or newer.

    It would cost you around 5-10k depending, however if you go k24 frankenstein should be around 5k max?

    How much did your turbo setup cost you xeno? Seen a supercharged Si (same engine as the sports) push out 220kw. I'm getting interested hey

    7k give or take including tuning. Another 1k for additions, not including exhaust work etc

    I have the same engine, Basically i did quite a reasonably amount of research... The k20z2 originally when i first started looking for parts there werent many. However, now its alright. For an intake to be installed. you need an RBC Manifold. Depending on price, the total could go from 500-1000 bucks for both the intake and the manifold. But whether the gain in HP is worth it or not, im unsure of. For my engine i just got a K&N Drop in filter, i figured it'd be the best way to go.
