'91 EG Flat folding rear seats?

Hi guys.
I'm tossing up wether I should keep the rear seats or remove them completely and follow one of the DIY rear seat delete guides, with the obvious pros and cons.

I was wondering if there is a compromise in flat folding rear seats that can be easily fitted?
Something like this:


Having rear seats would come in handy. But so would having more boot-space, without having to sacrifice the subwoofer.
I would be happy with the standard boot space if it weren't occupied by the sub, amp and box. But I like the sound too much to get rid of it... what a pickle.


Another bonus would be portable housing of course...

Look up an eg6 rear interior, just google it in images,

its very rare and in this country - quite over priced if you can find one.

Looks like the seats alone are selling for almost $300 on ebay. Not sure I need the space that badly yet

I believe the seats wont bolt into an aussie model aswell.....

not 100% sure but i think the brackets are different

the eg6 rear seats will not fit unless you weld in new brackets quite a mission

Found a few DIY guides online, but seems like a bigger mission than I'm ready for.
But I'll ask the question anyway! How much??
