Any DIY mods to B18C while it's out

    Hey guys

Any worthwhile DIY mods to do on a B18C7 while I have it apart on the stand. I'm not talking about internal mods, things like

    -sump baffle
    -tb coolant bypass
    -iacv coolant bypass
    -i/m heatshield gasket
    -washers in oil pump
    etc..

Doesn't have to be performance mods can be maintenance and fail safe mods too

There's the aesthetics like battery relocation, wire tucks, block polishing, shaving the bay and brake lines

    ETC

Fail safe essential would be to do the dizzy, have had mates do B18C7's and B20's and the dizzy shits itself.

If you haven't already I'd do the hard to reach seals, front and rear main seals, timing belt, water pump. Then anything else which is cheapish dizzy o ring, vtec solenoid seals, manifold gasket just to save a hassle later, it's a lot easier to do with the engIne out. Also maybe new iacv seal and clean the filter in it.

Yeh i will probably replace the water pump. I took the connecting pipe off the back of the block which gives u a view of the inner side of the pump and it looks like someone took a massive dump in there

Most of the seals are sorted and the timing belt looks pretty fresh, most likely changed recently.

I'm thinking more towards mods that can help with extra cooling, flow, or maybe useful for something in the future like gauges
