    B18cr ecu into a em1?

    Hey guys as I have mention I've now have a b18cr in my 99 em1. The only thing is that I'm still running the b16a2 ecu and was woundering if it's possible to run the b18cr ecu?
    If so how and what do I need? Thanks

    you need a P73 OBDIIa ECU ( I have one if yo need one ) and an OBDIIb to OBDIIa Convertion Harness

    Yea I've got the ecu, I guess I'll look around for the harness then. I went to a performance Work Shop and they told me it couldn't be done. I guess they just didn't want to waste there time. thanks mate

    Not necessarily. They could be right as the immoboliser in the P73 would prevent the car from starting.
    Keep calm and Active reload.

    I modifed an EJ8 vti manual engine harness which worked a treat as it plugs and plays

    few minor tweaks but it does work
