[DIY REQUEST] How to completely strip EG doors

Looking for a DIY on how to completely strip/hollow out the doors of an EG like how BYP (and surely others) did for their race car, with the windows being fixed and unable to be wound up and down.

My doors currently look like this

and I basically want to get rid of that entire panel, all the power window system and the window itself and put a fixed plastic or whatever light material window. All I really need from the door is that it opens and closes, and hopefully water doesn't get in!

    Cheers

get the 5 inch or 4 inch grinder out and slice that whole surround
get the lexen windows from the US
and don't chop the locking mechanism

Thanks man! Also i was thinking, should I leave a horizontal bar-like section of the surround at the top to secure the window to? Or do these windows come with everything needed for that?

leave it you will need to make brackets to hold the lexen windows up.

don't cut the instrusion bars on the doors unless you're running a roll cage

Yeah the roll cage will provide all the rigidity needed ay. I will be getting one soon so I'll just leave the top part of the panel then
