if you are wanting to dramatically alter the compression ration of the engine, you will need to replace the pistons. Bisimoto have many options available when it comes to pistons. PM for further details

If you are going to use thinner head gasket you will need adjustable cam gears to get your timing right again. It won't be out by much but it will be out.

you will need to machine the mating surface of the head (underside). it'd not be smart to avoid this when changing the gasket.

I dunno about "just" a port and polish either, I got quoted around $1600 for that to be done to my B18C2's head.

    are you upgrading camshafts?

    if no, then no point.

just a quick head shade to Clarence is all you want
