    Just to be clear though. The EX250 is carbie based on a old motor. The EX300 is EFI and completely new. Ride them back to back and you'll see. The EX300 is a brilliant bike.
    The power is good through the whole rev range thanks to the parallel twin motor. It holds power all the way to redline. Smooth delivery too.

    There is a reason they used the design of the 250 engine for so long.
    It was reliable and tough as nails.
    Yes, the 300 is an alright bike, but for the $7 000 you'll pay, you can get a whole lot more for a whole lot less.
