    another question.... i have all standard eg brakes at the moment, have noticed recently that sitting in traffic or at lights whatever, i push the pedal till its hard and then it kinda gives slowly and sinks down a bit more, havent been loosing any fluid, but any ideas as to how i can fix this....

    two possibilities.

    1)losing pressure in the system, can be a leak somewhere like brake hoses

    2) lot of air in the system, you are pushing the brake fluids around as there is lot of air trap inside, have to bleed all the air out.

    cheers, i bled it when i installed new pads and im sure there was no air... ill try it again to be sure...

    does it keep sinking?
    usually the bmc need replacing

    like i said, it happened to me, i even took out the bmc and booster and get professional clean and rebuild it too.
    and it still feel spongy.

    i replace the bmc and bb with BB4 items, it went so much better.

    ive also got the same issue.

    connorling - did u also change pv to 40/40?

    ive gota 96 itr bmc - it doesnt brake until the last 4cms of braking

    how is your fluid level, and what booster?

    if ur talking to me:

    fluids are all good. booster is itr 96 spec.. no air in lines. bled twice

    your pads wouldnt be worn, or sitting far from the disc surface?
