    Oil leaking through exhaust

Hey guys, whenever I'm at WOT and vtec engages, I get a lot of black smoke coming from my exhaust. I've also noticed lots of oil missing after a spirited drive. Would anyone know how exactly this happens? Bad gasket somewhere?
    Cheers

Black smoke is fuel, not oil, as butterfingers alluded to.

If it was oil, itd be blueish/white smoke.

Its the ecu richening up the mixture to make more power/protect from leaning out ie: doing its job.

Dont stress too much about that.

As for the low oil level, youre probably burning it, high revs youre more likely to burn oil.

How many km are on the car/motor, and how much do you reckon the oil drops?

Is it modified, if so, what mods?

Give us something to work with, otherwise we cant help you out.

Sorry guys, um, 99,000 km, I went for a 3 hour drive, bit of high end there. Lost about 2-3L of oil there. Only mods are ITR headers, b pipe and a twinloop. + a CAI

2-3 L of oil. So it wouldnt show on the dip stick at all, as u have like 4 L all up. Did u check the oil on level ground and waited 10 mins for all the oil to drop to the slump?
And r u sure it had oil in it to start with!

If thats whats really happing with a car at 99G km's with no internal work after a 3hr drive.
    Your car fk'd!

No oil on the dipstick, before the drive it was completely up to the top dot. 100% sure as I topped up before leaving, checked when I got home. Had to go buy more oil.

then, my friend, you have a serious problem

does your car feel alot weaker? you could be losing compression, but even that wouldnt kill 3L of oil that fast.

Not 100% the whole time, it was probably 30-40 minutes of mountain driving, only full throttle on the straights. I did a compression test and it was approx 175, 180, 180, 185 respectively. Doesn't feel any weaker either

How much did u top it up to get it back at the top dot on the dipstick. Also is your oil pressure light on at idle?

Also when u top up oil. get it just before the top dot. Start engine, wait 10 secs, turn off engine wait 10m and recheck!
