The cheaper way to change car color~~ Wrapping and Plastidip

Actually recently i just know about these products, it's really help and save me $$$ a lot... because my car paint is a bit dead and received ridiculous quoted from workshop, $3000+++ for repaint whole car or $2000++ for wrapping whole car...

So i decided to do it by myself during weekend......

1st, i ordered vinyl papers from oversea, it took around 1+ week to deliver

    Matt White for car body

    Matt Black for front bonnet

    Panoramic roof film

    Tools:
    1. heat gun/ hair dryer
    2. scissor / cutter
    3. card

    Original look.....

and also bought new bodykit for it..

ok, let start the works... removed the car handles, badges, taillights, and etc...

as this is my 1st time, i got no experience in previous... so i had spent almost 2 hrs to wrap the this 2 parts....

Spent 2 days just done 80%

    then let start the plastidip.....

    1st coat on the spoiler

    after 5 layers on it

at the mean time, also spray the side mirrors..

after that, start to paint my wheels.... you need to wash it and dry it before paint

after 4-5 layers of matt black as base coat

then another 4 layers of gold metalized as top coating...

how's look it white car with gold wheels? actually wanna keep the front lip as black colour, but.... look like not match... so....

    finally.... all done.....

    $3k to paint a euro ? That's a pretty decent price !!

Nice results on the vinyl, got up close pics in sunlight ?

As above, there are platidip car respray kits available, this looks good though! props man

Less than $500 to completely change the colour of your car. Decent job mate ! Did you run through any encounters while you were doing so that made you frustrated ?

the only part is removed the door handles... and also it's a bit hard to do it by self, it will be more easy if someone can give you a hand...
