    o2 sensor issuse on b18 eg swap?

    well here i was thinking everything was going so well. i have just about finished up the swap and then bam o2 sensor.
    ok so currently i have the 4 wire set up as such;

    o2 heater- pinned to A6 (getting power)
    o2 sensor power- pinned to A25 (getting power)
    o2 sensor ground-pinned to D22 (getting ground)
    o2 signal- pinned to D14 (havent tested yet,no multimeter)

    is there something obvious im missing here, the o2 is brand new and i just cant figure it out??? unless its faulty (which ill test with a multimeter when i get one)

    Edit: im getting error code 1, well i think i am any way the CEL flicks off for less then a second then stays solid, but it only dose this once. maby code 0 i.e faulty ecu??

    You will only need to run one wire from the shock tower to the ECU to get the o2 sensor working.

    The trick is to look at the shock tower on the passenger side. There is 3 plug. Make sure there is a wire running from one side of the plug to the other. If there is a missing wire, simply wire it in and run that to the ecu

    At most, you will need to run 4-5 wires

    are you getting a sold cell when you start the car without the SCS bridged or solid cel when you bridge the SCS ?

    see this link for testing the O2

    having dejavu here ECU-MAN hahaha.. your ECU has to be the same as your O2 sensor.. iof you run the JDM ECU u need the JDM O2 sensor and wiring, if it's AUS ECU then u need the AUS spec O2 sensor + wiring. I cant remember which one is which but if your JDM ECU is looking for the JDM wiring.. it will throw code.

    sounds like the same problem i had many years ago with my swap and ECU-MAN saved the day as usual

    take a read here

    you can run AUDM or JDM ECU with our O2's without issue.

    ECU will only look at the heaters resistance and if its not with spec then code 41, if no signal comes from the O2 itself then code 1,
