    Moving MAP Sensor

HI folks, looking for a bit of help on the issue above. I have an S2000 AP1 engine in my car and have a very low profile bonnet and need to relocate the MAP sensor. Can it be done and what issues is it likely to cause (i.e. what do I need to do to make it work properly)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's fine, just locate it to an area so it's reading pressure in the plenum not a runner. Preferably closer to the throttle opening.

    Thanks very much Chris.
I was planning to make up a little plate to cover the existing mount point with a tube ducting it to another plate holding the sensor just below the front of the plenum.
My concern was that the tube would likely be rubber and may impact the accuracy of the reading.

There is no problem with that.

We have run external MAP sensors in racing conditions before with no ill effects, just use suitable vacuum hosing.

    Jobs done.
Thanks to all that provided me with confirmation that it was feasible.
